MINIMUSICA, Book 2 (work-in-progress)
My first collection of 15 Concert Studies for the guitar, called MINIMUSICA, was designed for advanced players, inspired by the spirit of Villa-Lobos and Leo Brouwer. That collection was among my earliest compositions for the guitar.
This current work-in-progress represents a new collection that I find myself writing as I turn once again to the same inspiration models and seek new ways to make the work of developing guitar technique more interesting.
The collection currently comprises:
Study 1: Slurs and Block Chords
Study 2: Slurs study that improves coordination of the hammer-on with simulatneous thumb stroke.
Study 3: Sixths
